Nejd F. Alsikafi, MD is an attending physician with the Loyola University Health System who specializes in Urologic Reconstruction & Trauma, and Male Urinary Incontinence. He is one of the very few surgeons nationwide who is fellowship-trained in urologic reconstruction and trauma. Additionally he is an expert at male urinary incontinence and is one of few proctors in the Chicagoland area who teaches other physicians how to surgically treat male urinary incontinence.
Expertise: Dr. Nejd Alsikafi was born and raised in the Midwest and attended the University of Chicago for his undergraduate and medical education. After serving as an attending physician at the University of Chicago for 3 years, he was recruited to start a program in Urologic Reconstruction & Trauma at the Loyola University Health System, Department of Urology in 2006. He is an expert in urethral reconstruction (urethroplasty), urologic trauma, and male urinary incontinence. He is involved in a number of national studies regarding the outcome of various urethroplasty techniques, and is published in highly-regarded peer-reviewed journals in the area of urologic trauma and reconstruction.
